Inspire your taste buds and get started with our ‘Menu Selection’. Offered as a menu from which to choose your items, or to set you off on a brainstorming adventure, we really mean it when we say you have no creative limitions.

Step 3.
Personalise your menu.
This is where it’s time to let your imagination shine. Every booking is inclusive of one-on-one consultations with our master chef, Matty. This time is spent nailing out the delicious details – working on cohesive menu flow, inspired flavour combinations, and cusine inspirations to create a menu that is utterly and entirely yours.
Packages
Sit-Down To Share
Our most popular package due to being driven with versatility in mind. For big feasts to intimate parties you can choose between all of our dining options and combine them to suit your event and your guests. These seated styles involve food placed down the centre of your table to be shared alongside those you love. Starting with a base inclusion of seated mains & sides, you can opt to add in additional courses – grazing tables (savoury or sweet), canapes, seated entrees, or dessert/s.
Canape Service
Just as it sounds, a great choice for functions made for movement and mingling. A base package of nine canapes with a choice from our savoury and sweet canape menu. Additional canapes can be added to this package, or combine it with one of our grazing table options.
Grazing Tables
Savoury to start, sweet to finish – or swap that order around! Either way it’s a haven for choices. Designed to meet your brief, whatever that looks like.
Savoury tables: A range of charcuterie options, garnishes, toppings, and construct-your-owns (visualise bruscetta bites, hot cheese pans, and honeycomb frames). The skies the limit.
Sweet tables: Typically for a final course (we think you rock if this is how you choose to start!), a range of desserts with a selection of garnishes, toppings, and accompaniments. Think helpings of sticky date pudding with whiskey caramel and bacon popcorn honeycomb, an eton mess pinata moment, or elegant lemon curd tarts with meringue and yuzu pearls.
Masterclasses
Looking for a little more know-how, a full-day crafting and eating affair, or a group activity centered on delicious dining? We offer full-day Masterclasses. At $290 per person, it’s a perfect interactive dining and cooking experience for those curious about how to do what we do for yourself.
Start with a welcome breakfast over fire, and be a hands-on part of the experience:
- How to choose, handle, portion, and truss proteins
- How to pair flavours and prepare spice blends, condiments and garnishes
- Master cooking your snacks, poteins and sides over fire and coal
- Most importantly… how to feast. As the fire does it’s thing, enjoy a seated brunch of fire crafted snacks before continuing to prepare and cook your main courses and sides.

The FAQ’s
How do we cater for dietaries?
We’ve got those with eating considerations covered – provided a dietary is not of the majority, we’ll make sure that any dishes unsuitable for an allergy or intolerance are substituted with alternative fire-crafted options.
What do we get in the price?
It’s a stress-free dining experience – we provide all food and the wonderful waitstaff required to service your event. Our Sit-Down to Share feasts are catered for with table service, lending your evening a pampered and luxurious touch. Travel mileage to your selected venue is covered, letting us get to you without the extra charge, and we ensure a trace-free packdown.
We don’t live in the Southern Highlands – can you travel?
We can, and more importantly, we would absolutely love to! Our portible BBQs make it super easy for us to come to you – from Byron to Victoria, or in-between. Get in touch to let us know when and where your event is to find out how we can get the magic happening.
How truely off-grid can you operate?
When you say ‘off-grid’ – we say ‘Oooh yeah!’ From central venues to coastal gatherings (and often, just a magical spot in the middle of family farm paddock), we can operate in a totally (completely) off-grid fashion. No power, no water – nada. We bring what we need, and leave a trace-free pack-up. Here’s the proof in the pudding from some of our events:
If you travel to farms… can we use our own meat that we’ve raised?
Absolutely – topped off with a passionate yes! Local produce, well raised animals, unbeatable flavour and a personal touch to the experience… that’s exactly our ethos. Have a chat to us about incorporating your produce into your event.
How do we cater for kids?
We offer seats for children under 12 at half the price of whichever package you elect to go for. Within the menu you’ve chosen we can then simplify a portion of the dishes to be more flavour friendly for little mouths.
What else do we need to consider?
If you need some inspo or provider recommendations, we are happy to help.
1. Bar staff – We do not provide alcohol or bar staff, but we have a number of wonderful professional Alcohol Service providers who we are delighted to recommend.
2. Tableware & styling – we provide what we need to serve our offerings on, but do not provide cutlery, individual plates, glassware or styling. Get in touch if you need recommendations for wonderful hire companies and/or stylists.
3. If we are traveling some distance to you, our only requirement is the provision of accomodation the night prior to the event. Our operation requires us to start fires no later than 7-hours prior to the dining start time which means we need to be staying close to the venue on the morning of your event.
4. Service Staff Meals – we provide meals to any vendors and staff providing for your event, for a small charge.
5. Cakeage – we don’t make the cake, but we sure love to cut it! We can take care of portioning, plating and serving your wedding cake, adding seamless cake service to your night.
6. Venue Requirements – if we haven’t worked at your chosen venue before, it’s a good idea to make sure they are aware of how we operate. We have some basic requirements of the space we use to ensure a hazard-free and safe experience for everyone involved. We are happy to get in touch with the Venue Managment team to discuss those requirements, or we have a brief info pack we can pass along to your Event Coordinator.
7. Please remember – there could be smoke! We take all care to place our BBQs in a position that will least impact your event and space. Please be sure to let smoke-sensitive guests know to bring what they need to protect their health.
8. It’s your party… – (you can cry if you want to… but we’d rather you didn’t!). And after all that… don’t forget to stop and take it in. Have fun. Immerse. ENJOY!
